Just got an email from CPW saying, my item is now in stock, 16GB Black iPhone, and will be dispatched shortly, so hopefully I'll be getting it on friday

I ordered the 16GB aswell, don't remember if there was a colour selection though .

Edit: So will they already be activated or will we have then have to trudge to the nearest o2/CPW store?

According to everything I've seen, it'll be activated at home because you've already signed up for the contract online.

So people that ordered 16GB iPhones direct from O2 are not getting them despatched because of no stock (only the 8GB are getting sent out) yet CPW, whose ordering system came online AFTER O2's manage to get things sorted and despatch 16GB phones.

My order status is still in phase one. I phone up earlier today to check and they said that there wasn't a problem - but she didn't sound like she knew what she was talking about.

I ordered the 16gb and my "dispatch" email now shows - 1x Free connection £159

No mention of my iphone....

check your spam folders. mine got sent there for some reason.
my order status is still on 2, but yay! at least it's in carphone warehouse's warehouse. so hopefully i should have it friday!

yep. mine says that too. but i checked with my local CPW on the day i ordered and it's all in the system as being a 16GB 3G iPhone
