Email issue... need help.`

Hi. I was playing Aralon last night and got a text. Well, my JB 4.0 3GS didn't like that. It got real slow for a minute then the springboard crashed. I rebooted the phone.

When I opened the email I got like 200+ emails... all of which I already had opened on the phone weeks and months ago. Some of them were missing too.

What's up with that? Why did my phone download emails I had already download before?
