Email Not Deleting in MAIL

I have one message in my Inbox that simply won't delete. When I try to open it, it never loads. When I try to delete it, it turns gray and just sits in my Inbox until eventually it turns back to normal color and acts like it was never deleted. When it's still grayed out and selected the "Delete" button turns into an "Undelete" button.

Thoughts?

I had exactly the same problem!

Got it resolved in this thread, it seems COMMAND-L is the solution

ok so the COMMAND+L made it go away for like a day.

now the email is back and keeps coming back.

any other ideas?

Easy

Click on Mail icon on left-upper side of your screen. Go to Preferences ->Click on the account that you are interested, ex. Gmail and change the settings
