This is an intermittent problem when using wifi, doesn't seem to be an issue otherwise.
Sometimes when I get an e-mail, I get a banner and audio response as a notification on the lock screen.
Other times I don't, until I open the "mail" app.
THEN, the banners appear and the audio signals function as the mail loads into the inbox.
"push" is enabled, modem/wifi has been rebooted, phone has been re-started - no change.
Again, this is an intermittent problem, so settings don't seem to be the problem (unless I'm overlooking something - not unusual!).
