Email On 2.1 Very Slow

There seems to be some problems checking my email since the firmware upgrade from 2.02 to 2.1 It does not completely check the email and when I tap on one of my Gmail accounts, it really slows down and make each step painfully slow. Anyone else have this issue?

Any cure?

I don't seem to have a problem. Is this a problem with opening it and it checking or does the background checking take forever too? Also, keep in mind it could be GMail server problems.

Both opening and background checks. It started with the 2.1 upgrade. If I am alone, perhaps it's just me or related to Gmail.
