Email on smart phone interfering with Mac mail.

I have a gmail account that I use with Mail on my mac. I just bought a new phone (INQ 3g chat) and set up my gmail account on that. Now every email that is sent to my gmail address goes to my phone, but neither Mail or my gmail account receive the emails. Any idea whats going on?
