Which is faster for the macrumors forums ? Advantages and disadvantages of each ?

When I am away from the computer, I use RSS feeds (Watch Feeds app) to keep up with the latest and greatest on MR via my Apple Watch. Any time a new article is posted, I get an alert on my watch with a short snippet of the article. I also use the News Explorer app. which shows me articles and news from the sources I want. Work so much better than Apple News on the watch, which is rather pathetic.

Can you do the same in the forum or not possible ?

I could probably do the same with individual threads on the Apple Watch but, it really wouldn't be practical as I would end up getting constant notifications on the watch. That is why I keep the RSS alerts for MR set to just staff articles. If I want to look at member threads, I can set it up through the News Explorer app and turn off notifications. Checking the site briefly on my phone works well.

Thanks.
