Email screen pops up in text messaging

Pretty weird. Last night, I clicked on an email in a text message to send a picture to a friend. Everything went fine, but now everytime I go into texting from the home screen, the compose email screen pops up. What gives?

That makes no sense... lol Are ya sure you pressing the SMS icon and not the mail icon at the bottom?
