emailing pages files

is there any way to email a .pages file so it does not have to be "unpacked". Im having trouble emailing/uploading iwork documents due to this "packing" of the document. Am i missing something?

Not sure what you mean by "packing," but Pages files aren't really files so much as folders (AKA, package files). If you're e-mailing these files, your best bet is to compress them into a zip archive. Control-click on the file and select "Make Archive" from the pop-up menu.
