emailing short video clips

this is my first post on the forum , please be easy with me .... On my old mac .version 10.4.11 about 3 years old .. I was able to email short videos , I've since upgraded to the new i mac version 10.6.2 snow leopard .... and finding that I can no longer email these short video clips ? Is it me or am I missing something .... nothing has changed as far as my internet provider , only a new mac ... Please help !

Are ou creating the clips? If so, are they within the 10MB limit set by many ISPs? If you made them on the old mac, and now make them on the new mac perhaps there is something different in the encoding that is making them larger.

See if there's a setting in your mail client that's limiting the size of your attachments; or whether the attachments are being properly attached to the message to begin with. Start with a small binary file and work your way up in size.
