Emails Not Coming Through To My iPhone 5

Since I ever updated to iPhone 5 from my 4s my mails doesnt seem to be coming to the phone as it should be. Ive checked everything, push for mails is set to every 30 mins. Ive noticed when in "Do Not Disturb" mode mails dont even show up at all on the locked screen. I have to go into the mails app and refresh manually.

Are any of you experiencing this issue/have any ideas as to what could be causing the problem?

My 'fetch new data' was originally set to PUSH and MANUALLY. Because push doesn't work with my email I wasn't getting new messages. I've now set it to EVERY 15 MINUTES to solve he problem.
