Is there an application for OSX that allows one to add embedded tags to photos? iPhoto saves tag data in a separate file (so does Picasa and numerous other photo organizers). Windows Photo Gallery embeds the tags in the image file itself, but obviously is not available on a Mac.
I would like the tags embedded in the photos themselves so I don't ever have to worry about losing them, or having to retag thousands of photos.
Currently I've got about 7000 photos that I brought over from Windows, and iPhoto will read the tags. Any new tags I add in iPhoto are lost when I access the photos in another application, or on a Windows machine.
