Hi,

Can someone explain what is happening here, please:

I get an eMail with an embedded photo on my iPhone.
Looks fine.

I forward it to another party who would also enjoy
seeing it on their iMac. But, they get the text fine, but instead of a Photo,
there is something like:
<IMG_0740.jpg>

And, this also appears in the original eMail with the photo I received after
a period of time; photo now gone for me, also on my iPhone.

Using IMAP now, but this "may" have been happening as for some reason
the the eMail server became a POP. Always used IMAP. Can't imagine why it changed, presumably by itself. Just noticed the change.

Might this have been the reason the photo "disappeared ?

Anything i can do to ensure for the future eMails with embedded photos,
the photo stays, and there is no reversion to this <IMG...>

Happy Holiday.

Thanks,
bBb
