so i'm a little ignorant on the subject, but why is VMware Fusion made by two different manufacturers? and why does the EMC version seem to cost around $40 and the Allume around $80? what's the difference???

so is the EMC essentially just as good as the Allume version, only cheaper??? just trying to figure out if i was to buy Fusion manufactured by EMC, if it would be worth it.

still sort of waiting for someone to answer my question, either nobody knows, or does just nobody care to help me??? discuss....

Your question was answered. It's the same software, but sold by two different distributers. It's the same idea as General Motors selling an identical pickup truck under two names: Either the Chevy Silverado or the GMC Sierra.
