Emergency: MBP Won't Boot

Machine: MBP 16"

Started an internet restore on the machine. Disk Utility to erase the drive. Started the install of Big Sur. Come to the machine to check progress. Blank screen as if off. I hit the spacebar -- nothing. Hit the power button. Nothing. So then I went nuke mode and held the power button. Nothing. Hit it again. Nothing.

Machine is 100% unresponsive. I've never seen that before. Thing was working perfectly before I tried the internet recovery. What magic do I do now to get this stupid thing to boot up?

Obvious question but have you ensured it’s not just run out of power? Is it plugged in?

Yes, you nailed it -- turns out my power adapter stopped working in a perfect storm of failure and wasn't delivering any power. Swapped out to a new one, and it's working. *sigh*. Thank you!
