So I just finished replacing the combo drive in my g4 12" Powerbook.

It was not hard but a little long to do so.

Now, after I am done I have some EMI fingers lying extra. They are from around the modem, ehternet, firewire, etc. ports on the side. My question is... will my comptuer be ok without them?

In order to put them on I would have to take it down again to the logic board and I dont exactly feel like that.

PS. The reason my old combo drive failed to work was also discoverd. There was a screw inside it, not allowing the arms to fully retract when a disc went in. Damnit... oh well... Ill hold on to it for now.
