Emigrating to Australia, iTunes help

Hi I am moving to Australia from Ireland, does anyone know what i should do regarding my itunes account? Do I have to change to Australian iTunes will I lose my Ireland iTunes downloads what should I do?
Also any other advice as to what I should do about getting my MBP and iphone4 ready for trnsition to Australia from Ireland. Thanks for any advice.

Well, your iTunes account requires a credit card I reckon you'll have to update that.

I moved from the United States to Australia and yeah, I had to get a whole new iTunes account, but no I did not lose any of my previous downloads. I also moved here over 4 years ago and really didn't purchase from iTunes as much as I do now but the transition was fairly simple.
