I first got my iPhone 3 in 2009. It was great still is but it is now slowly breaking down so I had to up grade. For reilablity reasons.
I avoided the 5 as the charger was different, I already have two, one at work and one at home perfect and I could not understand the logic of moving away from a perfectly good mapping system. I went with the 4 but I then find they have also changed the mapping system on that as well!? A minor grievance I guess but worse still it has something called iCloud what is that all about? I have to create yet another online identity and then have all my contacts, music, and applications stored in another country? Why? Why can't I just store them in my computer and iTunes and contacts like before? Oh my computer by the way, it's a MacBook cost me around a £1000 what with the more desirable black option! That was around 7 years ago I guess. Still got it and still use it as you would expect after spending a small fortune on something. I have had an iTunes account since then as well. Only now it is useless as my new phone can not read the older version of iTunes and I can not update it because the operating system has changed, apparently. So going back to iCloud I have to sign in to a new iTunes account when I already have one? Why can't I just use my old account ? Is that so difficult? Or am I being made to purchase another laptop or is that too yesterday do I have to have an iPad to keep it real and join iCloud so some computer can tell me what music I should be listening too and what applications ( sorry "apps" ) I need to be using.
Either way there is a thing of trying too hard and being too clever, when a lot of the time if you keep it simple it works so much better for so many more people.
