Hello,

Would like to think that it isn't always me with these problems, but
if so, will blame it on old age now.

Running Mojave.

Have just looked in my Dock (to the right of the vertical dividing line), and
have noticed that my Documents Folder is totally empty ! Totally.

Application Folder seems O.K.

Was able to resurrect from my Home Folder. (and the iCloud Archives Folder that I seem to have)
Not sure if all, though.
None of the items seemed to be in the Finder. Why ?

I think, but am not really sure, that it was caused by my trying, hopefully successfully,
to sign out of iCloud, and anything to do with iCloud.

Anyone have any ideas what might have caused this ?
Really scary.

Thanks,
Bob

Do you have the "manage" drive space option turned on?

That is, is the Mac automatically "moving things up" to iCloud in the background?

This might have something to do with it.

I don't use iCloud AT ALL, and the only "manager" of my drive space that I want is... ME.

Hi,

Where do I find this "Manage" drive space option, please ?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi,

As soon as I clicked on the Manage Button, it appeared that it started uploading to
iCloud. No other option button, but as soon as I clicked on manage, it seemed to start uploading.

I might be wrong about this, though, although it sure seemed that way !

I absolutely don't want anything, ever, to do with iCloud again.

Am I right about this (immediately) uploading ?
Thoughts ?

BTW: I "think" that I am totally signed out of iCloud. Hopefully.
Do i need this step also ? Why ?

Thanks for help,

Bob
