Hi, I have a greyed out folder in the Trash, I remember that I was trying to copy some files and the operation failed, if I go to Disk Doctor, and try disk repair, it shows some truncated files, I have tried Secure Empty Trash, and also the program Trash It! but to no avail. Thank you.

How about the sudo command to force empty the trash?

I have tried all the commands suggested but nothing works, I guess it has something to do with the drive being an ntfs formatted drive.

Hi, I have paragon and is ok, I can read and write to the drive without problem, the command you suggested I did try and this is what I get :
rm: illegal option -- /
usage: rm [-f | -i] [-dPRrvW] file ...
unlink file

I have fixed the problem, ended taking the drive to work and on a pc did a disk scan, it found some problems and the offending files now are gone, thanks anyway.
