I have sent a music folder of mine to the trash, although when i try to empty it it says "The operation cannot be continued because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items"

How on earth do i delete it, its soooo annoying i dont want it here!!!

Open "Terminal" (/Applications/Utilities)
type " sudo rm -rf ~/.Trash/* " (no quotes)

Executing this action will open terminal and use administrator privileges to force delete whatever is in the trash.

if your like me and cant remember the terminal commands. Theres this app I use "Trash it" its free and works like a charm.

i tried the terminal command
it asks me for my password, i type it in and it dusnt do anything, it just goes strait to a new command line again
 
and also trash it didnt work...

does this mean my admin privileges arent working properly....
