Hi all - I remember that on previous versions of MacOS, there was an option called Enable Users to unlock or decrypt the disk from the FileVault settings. But I cannot see that option in Ventura.

Im running MacOS Ventura on a MacBook Pro M1.

Did Apple remove that option on MacBooks that are on the M1?

I only have one user defined now, so can't check what's available in system settings. Plus I'm running the Sonoma beta.

However, it can all be done from the command-line.

The only choice I can remember when setting FileVault is this one:

When you say it's hidden, how did you username-hide it? I checked my Mac and I do not have any option called Enable User for FileVault.
