Hello all,
Since three weeks I have a early 2011 13 inch MBP that works really well. However, yesterday, I enabled filevault under Lion to protect my files. I hit oke and it restarted.
Now I get a flashing question mark whenever I try to boot. I know that you can repair that by Using disk utility (holding alt at start-up) but i've set a EFI password there that I have forgotten...
I already spoke to Applecare this morning and they walked me trough al the options for resetting the NPRAM (CMD+ALT+P+R) and command+R ect. It didden't work at all and I'm still stuck at login screen that asks for my EFI password.
Before I bring it in for repair I wanted to make sure that there's nothing more I can do. I do have the filevault restorecode though.
Thanks!
Niek
