Hi,

Just got a 2018MBP (6 core). I enabled root in Directory Utility and rebooted. If I open terminal and enter

sudo -s

I'm prompted for the pw, but it says it's incorrect.

Anyone else having problems like this? I can use root no problem on earlier hardware with 10.13.6, the problem seems to be with build 17G2208 (unless it's related to the hardware which would be REALLY strange).

Thanks,

Jeff

sudo -s is prompting for your user password, not the root password, and you don't need to have root enabled to use that command.
Also this works fine on my 2018 13" MBP running 10.13.6 build 17G2208.
