(Firstly, I hope this is the right forum, as it seemed like more of an OS X question than iOS)
Last night, I enabled printer-sharing AirPrint by replacing the three files that have been talked about with the developer build files:
/usr/libexec/cups/filter/urftopdf
/usr/share/cups/mime/apple.convs
/usr/share/cups/mime/apple.types
So, it's all working fine, and that's great, but this morning I found this:
http://translate.google.com/transla...et.de/?p=71&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.com
This seems to claim that no system files are touched - is this true?? And if so, is this better / safer?
Also, if I leave the files changed (as I have it now), what will happen with 10.6.6 comes out? Will it cause any problems?
Thanks in advance!
