I'm having trouble enabling the ethernet port on my AE "N" device. Here is my current setup:
I have two Airport Expresses active to create my wifi network. The first is my "G" Airport Express. This is connected to the router my ISP provided. I have this "G" AE set to create a wireless network.
My second "N" AE is setup to join an existing network. Since it is an "N" AE, there is an option that I have checked off to "allow ethernet clients".
After doing this however, it seems that the "G" Airport Express is not live. I would like to use the LAN port on the AE to connect to a TVIX media player.
I have set the IP address on the TVIX player to both one within and outside of the IP range distributed by my ISP router.
Can anyone help me with this? I've been battling and searching for a fix online for a few days.
