Enclosure for MBP Internal Hard Drive

My 1.83 ghz MBP (first ones that came out in 2006) crashed about a month ago. The apple store told me it was the logic board and that I would be able to recover whats on my harddrive. As I dont want to waste money and pay them to do it, I heard I can take it out myself and get an enclosure for it.

Does anyone have recommendations for what enclosure to get?

Still deciding whether to get the new MBP or a refurb...Opinions?

Check out http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/firewire/on-the-go for a solution that will work with firewire in target mode. You can also use it in USB later on.

I love the new MBP but decided to hold off for now. I have a 2.33GHz MBP with 4GB of RAM and I can't just toss it away yet.
