Encoding 14 hrs so far

Encoding an 87min FCP3 project into iDVD4, in Best Quality, so far it's been running for 14hrs, and no progress indicator (which I'm told doesn't work in Best Quality). Just wondering how long I wait and what indication will there be on the screen that it's encoded?
