So here is my biggest pet peeve with the iPad is the inability to watch videos in any format out there.

I used handbrake to encode a video amd it came out to 2gb yikes that will kill my storage can we encode in any other format and the iPad be able to play it or is there a better video player out there that will allowbus to watch other formats of videos?? I get like 15 movies on my android phone since I can use various formats if videos to watch movies.

Anyone??

Thanks in advance.

CineXplayer does XVID and works well for me. Few months ago I saw someone attempt to use it on iPad 1, and it was crashing all the time. Could be video file itself...

I am sure there are others out there that will play other formats too.

I use avplayer HD. It's a great app that's in the app store. It plays any format movie and it's a simple drag and drop process.

Another option is to try changing your Handbrake settings. I use the Apple TV 2 preset, and rarely have a movie go over about 1.2 GB. Picture quality is fine, at least IMHO.
