Hi All,

I have some videos I've taken with my dads HD camcorder, and want to convert them to play on the xbox 360.

Does anyone know of a 'cheap' way of re-encoding files to WMV-HD? I've tried using VisualHub (like I do for most video conversions) but the result is really really blocky (despite spending hours fiddling with the settings)

I usually just convert to .MP4 for files under 4GB- that way the 360 will recognise it and I can also import it into iTunes. The few movies I have at the moment are greater than 4GB, hence the need to convert to WMV-HD (the 360 supports files greater than 4GB if using WMV)

Thanks for the help.

Its hard to say. I think a better option altogether wold be to split the movie in two files. It would far easier than spending days trying to figure out how to do something in the Windows Medias format.
