Encrypted images for both Mac & Windows?

In Windows, I used TrueCrypt to create a readable/writable encrypted disk image. In OSX, I now use Disk Utility to do pretty much the same thing.

However, each image is unopenable in the other OS, which is a pain because I have to switch between Windows and Mac from time to time. Are there any programs that does the same as the above but works in all situations?
