But to answer the question: it largely depends on the video encryption type. Some has yet to be broken, others can be found with a quick Google Search.
Yes I wondered actually about discussing it and on reflection, I may have have been able to word it better because the reason I was interested was a work colleague has made a film and inadvertently used the company laptop which encrypts all and now he's found that he wants to make a copy to give the ppl who are in the film , so going by what I said about looking back on it I'm thinking I should delete it.
