A friend of mine wants to share a video that has been encrypted. Does anyone know how you can share a video that is encrypted on a windows pc or mac.?

In general, if the video is encrypted, then it has license terms that prohibit sharing. MacRumors prohibits the discussion of license-violation topics.

But to answer the question: it largely depends on the video encryption type. Some has yet to be broken, others can be found with a quick Google Search.

Yes I wondered actually about discussing it and on reflection, I may have have been able to word it better because the reason I was interested was a work colleague has made a film and inadvertently used the company laptop which encrypts all and now he's found that he wants to make a copy to give the ppl who are in the film , so going by what I said about looking back on it I'm thinking I should delete it.
