End of line for 27" Thunderbolt?

I we all had a pound sterling for every time someone has said ATD is end of life over the past year on this forum.....we could all afford a new Mac Pro. ;)


All products are getting closer to their end of life every day. Where is a strong indication that ATDII is waiting in the wings?

True, but they are not getting any others, they are the last 70 they are selling.
 
Maybe they're just out of stock for the moment. Like the German Amazon. They're currently out of stock of ATDs. Shipments start again on January 10th. At first I also had the hope, amzn might know more than we did. Well. Doesn't look that way. Meh.
 
FYI for US buyers, best buy's got the open boxes for as low as $699 for excellent condition. If you buy before jan 5 you can use the extra 10% off open box coupon. $630 is not bad. Got this deal a few months ago, and itching to get one more. If anyone is in the vegas area, there are 2 at the SW location.
 
This is tempting. I've been wanting a 27" for quite some time now.
 
Or maybe they don't see that product as marketable anymore. Clear out the stock. :)
The monitor is already selling in a limited marketshare, being oudated doesn't help.

Lowest priced open box displays in my area are $854.99:mad:

Oh well, I really should wait. I was about to run out the door if I could get one for $630.
 
Just bought one the other day, had to buy before the end of the year, tax/budget issue.

Love it. Works great, going to really help productivity when I'm in crunch time.
 
Damn I don't want to buy this outdated beast, but I neither want to put an ugly dell next to my nmp when it arrives... I'll miss my thin iMac with USB 3... C'mon apple you've proven that you can build it!
