Endless vibrations

My phone has been vibrating for a good 3 minutes now and none of the buttons do anything/the screen is off. I'm about to try plugging it into my computer. Has this ever happened to anyone?

I've heard this happening to a few people. They had a thread or two going on in the troubleshooting forums. Some were able to restart it and have it stop. Others had to wait for the battery to run out. Definitely a bug

Plugging it into the computer did nothing it but holding the home and lock buttons worked (not sure why I didn't try that first to begin with). This was very weird and unexpected.
