Endnote X1 in iwork 09?

Hi there,

Delighted that pages now supports endnote and that I can hopefully drop Office 2004 entirely! I've currently got Endnote X1, whereas the Apple site only talks about pages compatibility with X2. Can anybody confirm whether or not Pages 09 works with X1? I don't want to pay for a new Endnote version (which doesn't seem to have any features worth the upgrade at all!) and this will make my decision about buying iwork 09!

You need X2, unfortunately. While Pages will launch X1 when you ask it to, the citations do not appear in the insert citation window.
