I set my Energy saver settings to "Higher Performance." Every other time I turn my Macbook Pro on, it reverts to "Better battery life." Do you think there is something wrong with the computer's memory? This only started happening about 3 months ago.

You'll need to put some info about your computer here. It very well could be a simple fix if it's an older computer, or indicative of a larger issue if it's a newer unit.

My computer is a late 2009 Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard-OS. It also has 500 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM. Nothing more to say, really.

Not hardware has ever been replaced save for a battery done by the Apple Care technicians.
