This reeks of generic "let's do some sort of social thing and make money" marketing.

Be intimately connected with those most important to you. Touch's fast and intuitive features mean you can interact the way you actually want. Use Touch to share your life and stay involved with your closest relationships.

I don't know what the product is or why I want to use it over others.

Thank you for your insight. I invite you to give the application a try and let us know your thoughts in the beta community.

We've already developed a platform for mobile communication. We know the social world very well. Our PingChat software hosts over 13 million current users. Touch is merely an expansion of our already booming social network. This is an exciting announcement for us as we continue to improve the way in which we exceed the expectations of our users. :)
I'm familiar with PingChat. I used to use it. My point is, you can't launch a "new" piece of software and hope to have it spread well if you don't even know what it is or why you're releasing it.

If it's just a PingChat facelift, which it seems to be, say so and praise it as such. All of the vagueries are just going to cause head scratching and people will go elsewhere.

Enflick Public Beta

Enflick Inc. is looking for beta testers to try out a brand new application. Testers should feel comfortable using new software and be prepared to help us improve the application utilizing our support and feedback system.

You can sign up for the public beta here: http://bit.ly/enflickbeta1

It seems slighly fishy especially since the op only had 6 posts all in reference to the company he works for, at least put some screenshots up.

I wish app developers either learned how to market their wares or hire someone who does.

We are not looking to market the application. We are simply just looking to acquire a solid beta testing team to help us make the app even better before we send it to market. I encourage you to give the application a try here: http://touch.com/beta
