That was pretty entertaining to read lol. I find it funny when one review calls it tiresome blah blah blah...I mean how much has the galaxy series changed over time? And the plastic really bugs me...feels so cheap but it is still a nice phone.

When can we expect to see the real reviews? Sept. 19? I thought popular tech reviewers like Rettinger, Brownlee, etc. get these things earlier than the rest. Wasn't this the case with every iPhones and other tech products? They usually release their reviews online before they are officially released. Or am I mistaken?

You are not mistaken. Between late Tues afternoon & late Weds afternoon -- whenever Apple's embargo expires.

Its all up to apple and their embargo. I suspect we'll be seeing these reviews very soon.

Thank you both for replying. Can't wait to watch/read these reviews. Particularly from AnandTech and Ars Technica. They make the best reviews; very thorough and informative.

The reviews might be a bit awkward this time around regarding software because there's a lot of apps that still aren't updated for iOS 8 and have major problems. For example MLB At Bat crashes whenever you try to play any game video (up through and including iOS8 GM). Same with Apple's own WWDC iPad app. Also no third party apps will have been updated for the new screen sizes, and thus will be scaled up, not really showing these new screens in their best light. Furthermore, there's a lot of stuff Apple doesn't have enabled yet in iOS 8 (until OS X 10.0 is ready), such as iCloud Photos and Handoff-related things.

I realized a long time ago engadget, or as I like to call them googelgadget, is nothing but a mouth piece for google and samsung. Their news feed through the day is just filled with google and google related stuff.
