Got the Retina iPad mini last night. Enjoying it while I wait for my Haswell rMBP. I have to admit, previously I was never really interested in the iPad. I didn't see where it could fit into my life.

But while I will still use my Mac like crazy, the iPad really does make many things easier. I read a lot of screenplays, and it's such a pleasure to do this on the iPad. Also, I love watching Netflix/Showtime Anytime on this thing. Not to mention the apps that I can install that make getting information quicker vs. going on a web browser on the Mac.

This screen is also gorgeous.

A bit late to the party but it's probably the best time for owning an iPad - that both product lines (the big and mini iPad) are mature now, balancing between power, screen quality, battery life, thinness and weight. Enjoy your iPad!

Agreed. I was just hesitant to get an iPad, and if I did I was waiting on the mini to come with Retina. But I probably won't use my iPad heavily, it will just be nice to have.
