Enlarging text in several emails at once

I get a bunch of emails from a forum I frequent from Yahoo Groups that all have very small text that's hard to read. Is there a setting that I can do so all the emails received from that group is automatically enlarged?

Mail > Preferences > Fonts & Colors

Change font(s)/size of font(s)

As far as I can tell, it's global. Not 100% sure it gets applied to existing messages or just new ones after you change it.
