I've been given an AVI fil exported from Camtasia on a PC. I have edited it in FCE on my Mac. The Compressor setting for the sequence is the Apple Intermediate Codec. The Compressor for the AVI file is Camtasia's EnSharpen codec.

When I export the file to Quicktime, the result is very blurry.

Can someone help me figure out why my results are blurry? My guess is, it's because the two compressor settings are different. However, the Ensharpen codec is not listed in the compressor listing, so I don't have that option.

Any help is appreciated. Please answer in very simple language. I'm new at this. Think crayons and playdoh.

THere is a LOT more to selecting you output then just the format. What is the resolution, bit rate, one or two pass. There are a dozen settings.
A god clue is the file size. If it is tiny that explains it.

Do a window capture on the Inspector and post it. Peole will tel yu what to change.
