Just thought I'd mention the solution to something that had me baffled for a while. When my iMac had rebooted from the Win XP install CD and it was finally time to press enter to continue with the installation I discover that my keyboard does not respond. This makes it rather difficult to install windows. This was on the brand new early 2008 iMac and I had just updated the firmware in the USB aly keyboard. I found some users that had solved it by using another USB keyboard but I could not do that since I only had this one.

However disconnecting the mouse made the keyboard work again.

My apologizes if this was already well known.
