Hello,

I have a 2 year old iMac. Inexplicably, while idle, it started pressing what seems to be the return key over and over again. Thinking something was up with the keyboard, I unplugged it, to no avail. The keyboard works if I manage to get to a point where I can type a few letters. I was able to successfully reset the PRAM, but it didn't change anything. I've also tried a different keyboard. Oddly, I'm unable to boot from a snow leopard disc that I have, either by holding C or Option on startup. The startup doesn't seem to register the key being held.

If you have any ideas, I'm all ears!

Thanks
