Hey,

Being a PC user all my life, I'm just wondering is there a way to set up your Mac so that pressing the enter key will open files because this is what I am used to doing on a PC. It gets kind of annoying because every time I open a file I end up renaming it accidently. Is there a way to open files with the enter key or is it just something that I'll have to live with?

It's just something to live with. Command-O is the keyboard shortcut to open files.

Cmd+down also works and I find it more efficient when navigating file hierarchies.

When I first switched I was constantly renaming files when I wanted to open however I got used to it pretty quickly.

yeah, get used to it, it's pretty quick to learn and getting used.

Command-Down is the bomb!!

OMG - Command-Down is the bomb!! That's the keyboard shortcut I've been looking for, for sooooo long!!! THANK YOU.

I'm going to use that SOOOOO MUCH.... Thanks so much for that information! You made my day! :)
