Hey everyone,

I've a USB keyboard and although everything works as normal with the numeric section of the pad - the ENTER key is actually working as if it is a 'Return' key. Does anyone know where in the Mac options I can stop this?

Thanks!

What do you mean? Like it backspaces?

On the Mac "Return" and "Enter" are typically the same. For instance if I am logging into a website I can tap either Return on the main keyboard or Enter on the num pad and either way it will sign me into the site.

This may function differently in some apps but I haven't seen it.

There is no difference between return and enter on a Mac. My current MacBook even has return and enter both printed on the same button.

If you're trying to find a way to add a new line in a text box without submitting the form, you can use Shift + Enter.
