When entering the ipod app, if the last thing I played was music, just clicking on the app will take me to the now playing screen for that track, and I can pick up where I left off.

However, if the last thing I listened to was an audio book, it will flash the now playing screen for that book for a second, and then kick me back out to the main menu.

So then to get back to it I have to go back to more->audiobooks->bookname->track name.

It's a pain in the butt, and more importantly since I mostly use this while driving (with an FM transmitter) it's dangerous. I can click one button on the iphone while driving, but navigating through a bunch of menus is not wise and would make me take my eyes off the road for too long.

Why does it kick me back out to the main menu rather than just letting me continue where I was before like it does for music?
