In the last 6 months since I've switched over to Entourage (used Netscape email before), I've had this happen to me twice; I have Entourage setup so that a copy of the emails (scheduled to download from my IP server every 2 min) is kept on the server. Until I manually delete from server. But on those two occasions, the emails that were still on the server were all downloaded again. So I had duplicates in Entourage. But when I selected the duplicates and erased them (NOT delete from server), they were automatically removed from the IP server.

Has this happened to anyone else? And is there a fix for this? I use webmail to access emails when I am not home, and I often refer back to old emails that I have purposefully left on the sever. This becomes extremely inconvenient when I have duplicates in Entourage, and I can't delete them for fear of losing access to them when I go through webmail. Currently running OS X 10.4.10.

Thanks in advance.
