Entourage 2008 always starts with a new, blank, email message and my address book

Mac OS Extended (Journaled) ???
Whenever I start Entourage 2008 for the first time, it always opens
up a new, blank, email message and my address book. I have
to click to close them both to see my emails. This is just a pain.

Is there a setting somewhere to cause Entourage to just go to
my Inbox?

Many thanks for any suggestions or help!
