Hello! I have a university gmail account, and a regular Gmail account, as well as another personal account. I want ALL to be POP (I can't stand IMAP as I also use my iphone to check e-mail and I just don't want to look at e-mails on my phone that I want to save on my computer). I started using Entourage 2008 because Mail was causing my problems. I just cannot figure out how to use my university account with Entourage! My school only sends me to a general gmail page about using mail programs, and apparently my settings are different. Does anyone have any ideas about the outgoing server? I tried smtp.gmail.com like it told me, and it doesn't work. It said something about timing out or perhaps there was high traffic. I use random wifi and do not have a set internet service provider, so it can't be comcast or anything like that. I don't understand this very much...any help would be greatly appreciated.
