Entourage, iCal, iPod Touch Syncing bug...

I have recently switched to Office 2008 and have been trying to work through what seems like a bug. I have Entourage set to sync with iCal and then to the iPod Touch Calendar and all works fine until I try to delete from the iPod Touch. It is recognized as a deleted item in iCal but does not go through to Entourage. Next, iCal will relist the deleted item as it is trying to stay synced with Entourage and will display whatever is displayed in Entourage's calendar. Then, when a sync is done through iTunes with the iPod Touch, presto, the once deleted item will reappear on the iPod Touch calendar. Anyone have any suggestions, other than to wait for someone like MarkSpace to come out with a bug-free sync from the SDK release?
